(1) We have linked a surcharge to (a) customer(s), how can we update this surcharge? | When Surcharges are linked to a Transport Contract, you can update the content of the Surcharge (validity period/amount/percentage). To do this, please follow the following steps: - Open 'All Surcharges' under 'Contracts'
- Find and open the Surcharge you want to update
- On the bottom tabs, find and open 'Surcharge Validity'
- Open the 'Surcharge Validity' you want to update
- Modify the 'Valid From' (if applicable)
- Modify the 'Valid Till' (if applicable)
- With both step 5 and 6 you can set the period this Surcharge is valid
- Open the 'Tariff' you want to update
- Change the 'Tariff':
- Update the 'Percentage' and/or
- Update the 'Base Amount'
- Click on 'Save' (on the 'Tariff' menu)
- Click on 'Save' (on the 'Surcharge Validity' menu)
- Click on 'Save' (on the 'Surchage' menu)
All Transport Contracts linked to this Surcharge are now updated in the period of validity. |
(2) How can I add a new 'Tariff' with a different Period of validity? | If you want to have multiple periods (e.g. one from '1/1/2020 till 31/1/2020' and a second from '1/2/2020 till 28/2/2020') you can do so by adding a new Validity period. To do this, please follow the following steps: - Open 'All Surcharges' under 'Contracts'
- Find and open the Surcharge you want to update
- On the bottom tabs, find and open 'Surcharge Validity'
- Click on the
icon under 'Surcharge Validity' to create a new Surcharge period - Set the 'Validity From'
- Set the 'Validity Till'
- Click on 'Save and Edit'
- Click on the
icon under 'Tariffs' to create a Tariff linked to this period - To change the type of Tariff click on the (v) icon after 'Type'
- Set it to Amount, External Amount or Percentage
- Update the amount/percentage
- Click on 'Save' (on the 'Tariff' menu)
- Click on 'Save' (on the 'Surcharge Validity' menu)
- Click on 'Save' (on the 'Surchage' menu)
All Transport Contracts linked to this Surcharge will have the Tariff applied in the period of validity you have defined in step 5 and 6. |
